I picked Frugality. I decided to do this virtue because i sepend alot of money. I work, get my money, pay my car insurance, and then blow the rest on things i dont really need but really want. I should really be saving my money. Everytime I get money i tell myself im going to put some money back and save it but i never do. I convince myself that I "need" a certain shirt or purse or something like that. When i know i really dont, and i already have enough things.
How im going about perfecting Frugality. I'm planning on thinking about what im buying before I take it home. Also I plan on working more and saving my money in the bank so i cant touch it, because if its in front of me im going to spend it. I am also going to try and recycle things instead of just throwing everything away. And probably try to find new ways to use things instead of throwing them away or recycling them.
Casey,
These are excellent goals. I think you'll be happy in the long run if you can save as much as you can now. I do understand the temptation of buying material things (especially purses). Good luck.

An update on my frugality
I am doing alot better with the whole spending thing. I have gotten my pay check for this week and have not spent any of it yet. I am just going to use it for my car insurance and then hopefully i can save the rest. It's almost unbearable to have money..i feel like i have to spend it, i think i have a problem. Maybe im a shopaholic.
Update on my frugality I spent some of my pay check on stuff for color day, so i didnt follow through with my goal. But i guess its a good cause. I still have $10.00 left so i guess i will save it. Its not much but $10.00 a week can add up, every little bit counts. I am trying to stay away from the mall or any shopping center available in Chambersburg.
Casey,
I agree with what you said about how every little bit counts. This is especially true when trying to save money. Good job!

Update on Frugality. Well i have not been working very much because my work just hired three more hosts so i really havnt had much money to spend. I have only been able to put gas in my car and pay my insurance.
Update on Frugality This week I spent money on my moms mothers day present, but thats ok because she obviously deserves it. I have gotten alot better at telling myself no when it comes to buying un-needed things. Which I see now as a good quality in a person.
